Workshop Wednesdays at DDL Ballard
Experience personalized, enrichment-based training designed to support your dog at every stage—from playful puppy to focused adult. Whether you're working on manners, confidence, or more advanced skills, we’ve built programs that meet your dog where they are.
Does your dog greet people like a pogo stick on paws?
This 60-minute workshop teaches you how to prevent and manage jumping so your dog greets people calmly with all four paws on the floor. Learn why dogs jump, how to time rewards and redirection, and practice simple exercises to reinforce polite greetings, even with distractions. For dogs 10 weeks or older with up-to-date vaccinations. Class meets once for one hour.
When? October 22nd, 7.30pm
Cost: $60 + TAX

Group Class & Workshop Requirements
• Dogs must be non-aggressive toward people and other dogs. This includes no barking, growling, or lunging. If you're unsure whether your dog is a good fit, please contact our training team.
• Dogs must be current on all vaccinations: Bordetella, DAPP, and Rabies are required.
• Dogs must wear a flat quick-release collar or harness. Prong, choke, or spike collars, as well as AirTags, e-collars, or anything that poses a choking risk, must be removed before class.
• Enrollment of intact (not spayed or neutered) dogs is at the discretion of our trainers. If your dog is intact, a trainer will contact you to discuss safety and next steps.
• We use positive reinforcement. Treats are required and encouraged! Bring plenty of small, pea-sized treats to reward your dog throughout the session.
